UMSA STUDENTS AND YOUNG SCIENTISTS PARTICIPATED IN THE III INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF TRANSLATIONAL MEDICINE (OSCON 2021)

On March 19-20, 2021, 3rd Student and Young Scientists  International Congress of Translational Medicine (OSCON 2021) took place in Osijek (Croatia).
Since last year, the cooperation agreement between the OSCON and IMEDSCOP organizing committees has been implemented.  It declares mutual popularization of activities among students and the promotion of active participation in partnership activities. This year, the Congress was attended by Yulia Kuyovda and Pham Tuan An with oral presentations “Respiratory support and insomnia after acute respiratory distress syndrome by COVID-19” (scientific adviser – O.Yu. Boduliev, Assistant Professor of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care) and Anastasia Shkodina with oral presentation “Daily fluctuations of derum ghrelin levels and pain in patients with Parkinson's disease” (scientific adviser – K.A .Tarianyk,  Associate Professor of the Department of Nervous Diseases with Neurosurgery and Medical Genetics). During the poster session, students of the academy made the following presentations:
- Vladyslav Yevtushok : “Changes in the anthropometric indices of the rats with obesity on the background of the probiotic administration” (scientific advisers –  Yu.O. Tchyzhanska, М.О. Tsebenko; Department of Biological and Bioorganic Chemistry).
- Viktoriia Voinash: “Maternal and perinatal outcomes in pregnant women with HIV in a tertiary care hospital in Poltava" (scientific advisers –  Associate Prof. М.О. Faustova, Yu.Yu. Klymchuk, Associate Prof. М.М. Ananieva, Prof. G.A. Loban;   Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology).
- Daria Maryniak: “Lacrimal glands structure components of the laboratory rat” (scientific advisers –  А.L. Katsenko, Prof. О.О. Sherstiuk, Associate Prof.                      N.L. Svintsytska, Associate Prof. V.P.  Bilash; Department of Human Anatomy).
